Derek McClary CLU, ChFC

is the President and CEO of McClary Financial Inc., a Financial Planning firm consisting of 14 Financial Advisors. Derek has been in the Financial Planning business for over 20 years. As a Charter Life Underwriter he has advanced knowledge in life and health insurance as well as estate and tax planning. As a Chartered Financial Consultant, Derek posses advanced knowledge in wealth accumulation and retirement planning.

His years of experience has been demonstrated in conducting educational seminars for a number of Calgary’s largest Financial Institutions, as well as conducting educational workshops in the oil and gas industry on investments, accumulation and retirement strategies. He also has authored various articles for a number of periodicals including the Prospective, for the Human Resources Association of Calgary, on Employment retention Strategies.

His passion is personal financial planning specializing in retirement and estate planning.
